Work has been interesting. Half my job is to deflect calls for my CEO who used to handle everything himself, and we mainly serve a community of people who just want to show up whenever.

I had to tell 2 people today that I cant have them come upstairs w/o an appointment

One of whom was super insistent. He called like 11 times like I'm here.

You have an appt on monday

Also, it's pretty surreal that I'm doing so much interpretation work in Bengali. Considering that I failed it at least twice when I was a kid.

What I do like about is the audible sigh of relief you can hear from the client when you speak thier language.

That was nice.

Also Ive been helping gather materials for marketing and will learn the type of software a lot of law firms use so those are good soft skills to have

Though the only thing I don't like is how very social I have to be. I'm mostly an introvert and I get peopled out so easily. I think I'll stay here 3-6 months max.
