Silliness

So I'm a dork and I talk weird. Yesterday I had to sign some papers, and a the lady gets ready to hand them to me, I go "You want my John Hancock?" because. Signature.

I actually said that long before I started RPing Hancock-- now I just say it more, to amuse myself

But the lady looked at me and laughed awkwardly, because she had no idea what I meant

this an uncommon thing to say now?

Because for me it's either "you want my autograph?" or "You want my John Hancock?" and now it's more the latter xD;;

I've heard the phrase plenty of times before. It's weird to me that someone wouldn't know what you meant
