Well, I wouldn't do it on a regular basis, but flying from Boston to San Diego RT Saturday and Sunday for a family gathering did take my mind totally away from work.

yeah. I only had three weeks notice, and all my leave time is otherwise taken or allocated until October.

I had to fly from SD to Boston for a funeral years ago - similar thing, only in February. Loooong flight there and back, was glad I had a gameboy!
