Day 1 with my new Cricut Did the "enjoy" project to make sure machine is functioning properly. Machine stops in the middle of writing and powers off. Turn it back on and it unloads itself. Reload (machine pretends to load it) starts writing on mat. Stop machine, reload, wheels run through ink and roll over the white paper.
Make my own project. Use a font to write out some words.. go to cut, and the words are now just djiwksncndkkskskcjsj. Google search. Find nothing. Weld them together because why not. Works. Cut on adhesive foil with settings to custom > adhesive foil.. cut doesn't cut all the way through.. will not release.
Attempt again using vinyl settings.. still will not release. Give up on adhesive foil. Use vinyl. Releases fine. Successful weed.. pull out cricut transfer paper.. too sticky. Pat against shirt 4 times to make less sticky. Stick on project. Project is now adhered to transfer paper forever. Give up on life.
LOL welcome to the beginners hulk smash of these machines. I dealt with that shit for a few months and raged lmao I wish I had tips but i youtube A LOT of videos and googled a lot lol
