my friend swears by lasik. i still have doubts, my teacher had a procedure gone wrong, that left her virtually blind in one eye. that was over 15 years ago, i'm sure the tech has evolved but it's still scary to me.

also, i don't know how long this new bionic lens will last. i don't know if it's true that if your condition worsens after lasik, not even eye wear can help.
