[RTX] That feel when everyone bogs down the FGT site so all the signings get sold out before it moves again

Can I say that this year of signing seems kind of...haphazard compared to last year? No one knew where to go until a link was posted on twitter and there was still issues with FG regarding codes

I have no issue playing the game of RT staff encounters during RTX but it seems weird that things were so sloppy

I'm going to try to get Gray to sign the helmet so it's mostly complete save for Matt which is never going to happen since he's so busy and his signings are killed immediately by VIPs

And then the quest to get a pic with Miles while armored up. Cause that is just the end goal for this armor and then it can be retired for a whole new set

and seriously? You'd think they would settle press out first because that's relatively easy to coordinate and it gives more coverage for RTX

This is sad because I remember doing all of the jumping and waving to get the guardians to pick you for signings and the signups for the past years were A+

That and all of the guardians work so hard! Like always kudos to them but if things are looking bad, I'm kind of glad that they're getting out and sort of letting RT know by doing so that hey yea something isn't right

Also one of my friends who's a former guardian who quit before last year was volunteering at Pax South and she just. Told me some things about why she quit. Apparently RTX is a joke in the con circuits.

She's wonderful! Experienced and just overall a sweet person that gets the job done and yea that's just gross that they're not giving her at the very least competent people and respect

RTX is rather...odd compared to other cons since it's not like PAX and not like other cons say Dragoncon and all. It's a weird hybrid that is simply not working out as it really should

There seems to be a higher focus on pushing VIP status and the whole being a FIRST member and just...no. That's not really what a con, especially one meant to be an amazing experience for fans, is supposed to be

The largest and amazing RTX (don't get me wrong they're all fun esp with friends and I don't regret any) was 2015's

That thing was almost flawless in how it was run and solved a lot of issues from 2014 imo. However there now seems to be this slow downward spiral of quality when it comes to the event in a couple key areas
