i think i was mostly confused when i saw the ads, but then i only really got around to playing it when kh2 came out and i wanted to do things in order

I'd say 2.8 is like a prologue for 3 since it has Aqua's story and shows what happens after D3's ending

BBS probably has the best story out of all of them since it bought everything together in a nice little bow (then mmmDROP Distance happened and make it more confusing than ever)
