my dad is pretty much the entire reason for my fascination, he always mentions that thunderstorms have never scared me or peace and i'm always like "we got that from you"

lightning is utterly beautiful to me tbh i have a fear of being out in it but that's a very healthy fear to have, and i respect storms greatly

lightning is my favorite part of a storm!! i love turning off the lights and watching it--when i was a real little kid, my dad would pick me up so i'd have a better view of it and stuff
