breaking news: it's difficult to write while listening to songs with interesting lyrics

I can generally write to songs with vocals, when they're kind of generic pop-y lyrics, or i know the song so well that the lyrics kind of disappear

but this Dessa album is impossible to write to

problem being, also impossible to stop listening to
