Listening to a collection of 'Dan's Dad' moments from Game Grumps. Makes me think about my own Dad

They're not similar in behaviour or accent or anything but the relationship between between him and Danny is wonderful. And my Dad did have his hilarious moments and ticks. I guess at this point I've heard so many stories about him that it's just kind of a thing that I think of him when Dad stories are brought up

There's a lot of good (and sometimes daft) stories I have about my Dad. But it's a bummer to not have him around so there'd be more stories and to see him react to the world as it is

One thing (aside from the family of course) I would love to have seen my Dad interact with would be new tech. He loved new technology. New computers, new phones. He passed away in 2000, so mobile phones were still super new, and home computers were just beginning to pick up. He loved playing video game consoles with us too.

So my Dad would've just been all over what we have now. Hell, he had a handheld video camera when that was pretty new! So he would've loved checking out new games and such. He'd need to have a tablet and a smartphone and all that jazz
