^ Note: Wolvie specifically did NOT want to hang out with the family. HE WAS CORRECT IN THIS, making his talk with X-23 in the hideout near the end all the more heartbreaking.

Also BIG question here. Which came first? The comic showing where Eden is, or did mutants gather at that location with inspiration from the comic?

But the lead kid was talking to someone in Canada about when to cross who was he talking to??

Also: Logan proves one thing, Magneto was right. mutants could not be left alone to live in peace with the rest of humanity. Systemic changes were made to eliminate mutants in response to them.

In the end the only place for mutants in a place apart from the rest of humanity.

...Or Canada.

whoever he was talking to had nothing to do with Eden. Eden was just the meeting point before the crossover to Canada

presumably one of the nurses in Mexico set up the Canadian contact

Still seems awfully convenient to me.

Considering that the person sounded very official when they said "Your asylum has been granted," I suspect it was a government official from whichever office works with refugees. But could it also be someone from the former X-men? That would be an interesting head canon/interpretation.
