So I have not seen my downstairs neighbor or her truck since Wednesday. The truck disappeared sometime on Thursday. But her three dogs are still here.

But the fact that the dogs have been in the same room since... Thursday (I can hear them when I go down the stairs) and I haven't seen her, well. It worries me.

I live upstairs so if someone were to come by I wouldn't necessarily see them.

So, I wrote a note and stuck it in her door.

That basically said "Hey this is the guy from upstairs; I just want to make sure that someone is walking the dogs"

So chances are she left town for a couple of days and she's having someone look after the dogs.

But she did tell me a horror story involving her mother-in-law strangling one of her dogs a couple of years ago.

She and her husband took the initiative to move and cut ties with her.
