mum - please stop giving me unsolicited advice about things you only barely understand, and then when I say 'that won't work because this & this', getting really offended

mum just had a go at me for being 'mopey like before you got a job' which 1) is a really nice way to talk about someone else's depression and 2) isn't even true? i'm not happy around her today because all she's doing is telling me to do things in a very loud voice.

it is a menopausal symptom. it is like talking to someone in a manic phase. it's just draining and she's ever so sensitive.

mum's telling me off for her perceived reading me as sad is making me feel actually sad!!!!!

i am feeling very tearful rn
