Mr Volare
Trying for that Moose, huh?
Corgi
Light, yes.
Mr Volare
Good luck. Foggy got it, and that last quest... ye gods what a monster....
Corgi
Mr Volare : I've heard, but I'll take my time so I don't get frustrated.
Mr Volare
HAHAHA...taking your time is what you CAN'T do...
Corgi
Mr Volare : Ohhh, I see. Like the mount captures in Draenor. Any chance you might want to wingman me when the time comes...? [hopeful look]
Mr Volare
Corgi : Uh, I tried clearing a path for Fog. it wasn't any use. whoever planned the route was effective...and evil. The suggestion, and this seemed to help was to use the barding the keeps you from being dismounted. Also, use a visibly small mount and have nameplates turned on so you can continue to track him when he drags you through shrubbery
Corgi
Mr Volare : Clearing didn't work, really? Are they respawning extra fast or what? That video is great, btw, thank you very much.
Mr Volare
It's a combination of factors. if you look at it, the path takes you through multiple quest object zones, each with respawn timers based on number of people in the zone, which, to my knowledge, increase spawn as soon as someone enters.
Mr Volare
Secondly, the path the moose takes tries to rake you off on set spawn points of mobs and, as one person observed, as you approach, even if just killed, these mobs will respawn as a function of your moose wrangling quest.
Mr Volare
However, the mobs aren't the real issue. It's the tricks the moose plays, the false starts, the doublebacks. it it a test at your skill maneuvering through the environment more than the mobs in the way.
Mr Volare
Use the bridling to avoid getting dismounted, avoid running through mobs as much as possible, and study that video, noting where the moose cheats.
Corgi
Thank you again for the clarifications. My leatherworker does, of course, have barding by now.
