Any Blender Bento rigger people around? I am trying to bind my armature to my mesh (or the other way around) and get this error And i have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I click the mesh, then the armature and click the bind button and get that error

what version of avastar are you using, and did you modify the skeleton or the pose before binding?

/usr/sbin/ennui : Blender 2.78, Avatar 2.0.23 - and I did modify the skeleton and made it a new rest pose as per their tutorials (they did the same and then did the binding and it worked for them)

went with the tutorial videos on that side Avastar-2: New Bones (Project Bento on Aditi) : Machinimatrix further down in the "Bind pose" one

hmmm. i'm on blender 2.77 and avastar 2.0.23 and tried editing the skeleton (following an older tutorial b/c i didn't know of the new one) and it failed

from the error traceback it looks like it's a proper bug in the avastar code. i would open a bug with gaia.

the avastar group said they aren't supporting the bento build anymore

until the finished one comes out in march

so a bug report won't help :/

idk but if you can find that python file and edit the TRue to True it may clear the error
