have to empty the pond sheet of excess water on top to restore the air gap underneath and protect the frogs properly again.

messed up and dislodged a rock into the pond in the process and had to scoop it out again with the new big strong net. It still had a land snail attached and only dead leaves etc were seen rather than any damaged amphibians.

it's far too cold for ponding but only got dirty rather than acquiring any obvious new injuries.
