Favorite hors d'oeuvre recipes! Go!

Somewhere in my pile of recipes, I have one for something called crab sandwiches, but they're not exactly sandwiches. lol

It's like, cream cheese, crab (imitation crab works curiously well with this lol), Worcestershire... I'm missing an ingredient, I feel... but you mix that up

and you get little rye toasts/breads (I think Triscuit type things would work well here, too), and you dollop some of the mixture on those

you put some shredded cheese on top--cheddar? and pop them in the oven

And the cheese is all melty and the bread/cracker/whatevers are crispy and they're just so nice

I don't have the actual recipe or amounts...

but my MIL makes a fantastic cheese ball with shredded mild cheddar, cream cheese, chopped sliced ham, and chopped green onions mixed together and rolled in chopped walnuts.

Damn that sounds good too!
