Like Ace didn't just die peacefully in his sleep. Luffy worked super hard to get him free on top of him being traumatically separated from his friends by their first decisive loss (that he knows of)

I assume the reccer means rather Luffy going on to train hard for two years away from everybody and not bring Ace up when he reunites with his crew. But that was on Oda for creating the situation, Luffy
