Iskandar/Waver is still my jam, A++ would watch forever

The murder couple was honestly kind of a nice break from the rest of the series as well.

Ryuunosuke and Gilles, that is

Iri and Saber need to be friends forever in a situation that doesn't end in massive amounts of death

Kirei and Gil both have a sort of bile fascination to them

Gil doesn't have morals but he does have standards (okay so Gil has morals but compared to modern day people it is very much blue and orange morality)

Kirei is a monster but to his credit he at least tried to resist it until Gil got into the picture

Kariya...I found the way they staged his strangling aoi very uncomfortable. I don't have super bad feelings towards him about it only because I think that he was basically in a slow slide of mental collapse

Kariya is meant to leave you feeling conflicted. He's definitely selfish, even when backed by good intentions. But the Matou clan is the wooooorst

Also Lancer was fucked over, and it is the worst. He deserved better than this for sure

It's also depressing when you consider his myth as well. Betrayed at the end every time

Yeah it's like in a lighter and softer series, Kariya would be an asshole
