Truthfully, the game's got a nice bit of depth considering all the little factors that make it in

Stacking happens mechanically as well as literally, amusingly enough; stats are altered based on all the characters in the stack, and resists (both elemental and status) well...stack with one another

Funnily enough, this is NOT always desirable, since you may need to hit lighter.

Additionally, combination attacks are a thing here

element+element = next level of element, for spells, as an example, but then you have main+mounted ones. ...Ahriman is kind of broken just for its mounted ability that has a Very High topple rate
