wow I'm really bad at checking plurk while sick

I'm still here hi

my days are a haze of ginger ale and SMT IV:A

which is admittedly not holding up as well as I'd hoped it would

too many characters with writing that's way too thin and the plot gets messy fast

It is giving me more of an appreciation for the plot of SMT IV, though, which I guess was brought down mostly by being generic

but it's pretty nicely paced and fleshed out

(the neutral ending is still anticlimatic of course)

but a lot of effort went into the worldbuilding that I didn't necessarily notice before because it's done in a pretty organic way

Apocalypse feels the need to revisit all of this and it's just not as tidy

the systems are much improved, though
