I'm seriously hurt emotionally right now; not to mention frustrated and pissed off.

I got a message on Flickr, blank account, doesn't even follow me, that told me my pile up work is crap

"Why would they pay you anything to do five minutes of work that they can do themselves?"

don't listen to bullshit like that, it's probably just some jealous sow.

Some people are just mean spirited. Keep doing your thing.

So if that person thinks they can do it, that's great but not everyone can

the more you progress, and the more people who start to notice your work, the more negative people will come to try and burst your bubble. Words have no power over you, don't give them the satisfaction.

The best part is, I was told my work is the laughing stock of Flickr and my favs are out of pity. I'm more upset with myself for letting it get to me at all

my suggestion is to just delete the message so that you aren't tempted to look at it, and so you don't even see it.

the green monster is all over the place, and its favorite thing is when it manages to upset the people it attacks.

We always remember the negative more than the positive. But do me a favor, count up your faves, your likes and your positive comments. How many are there? Then count up the negative. There's one?

So, which is bigger, the positive or the negative? Whose opinion do you value more, the people with long-held accounts and accountability or some drive-by commenter?

Of course it hurts that someone set out to deliberately hurt you. But you know what that means...you matter to them so much they put effort into affecting your day, more than they should matter to you.

It's a why me thing. Why my stream? Why bother? Just WHY. I'd never do that to anybody. It's fucked up

I have thin skin, always have and words easily puncture.

I just start wondering, who it is, who it really is and my obsessive tendencies take over.

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words but I just had to vent this and not bottle it up. I just don't know what I did to make somebody do that to me.
