...I really like that the animation for using a potion is just you jamming a syringe into your thigh.

You'll find it gets easier in a sense, later on. Once your hands get a bit of that muscle memory and reaction in them.

Remember the wolfbeasts tend to stagger nicely to a gunshot.

My build means I never even use guns to damage, only to stagger for those delicious viscerals.

But the first few bosses while you adjust to the game really do kick you in the face. xD

The werewolf things also stagger when you poke them with a torch (or at least the Hunter's torch, not sure the vanilla version you'll have now)

Not that useful when two of them are going to eat you, but it's something to keep in mind for other times you fight those things

There's an entrance to the sewers across the bridge. Instead of turning towards the wearwolves just keep going straight. It's hidden under a bunch of boxes though
