[3DS] Got arm9loaderhax installed on my recording 3DS after finally getting back to it. It's ... something everyone who owns a 3DS should do. Very useful indeed.

The last part, after getting the OTP file (which took forever), is very quick.

I'm currently flashing what was the EmuNAND to SysNAND so that I'll be back at 11.0, but with the benefits of unsigned code.

This is good for security tools, GBA emulation, other homebrew, among other things ...

The most time consuming things are the constant rebooting, loading the homebrew launcher, removing the SD card, and backing up files

Even updating the 3DS firmware to the most recent version doesn't remove the mod. It's literally the first thing that is loaded into the system upon pressing the power button, similar to BootMii on the Wii.

The best part is I can make backups of all my cartridges natively and turn them into "downloaded" games, so I don't have to carry my carts around anymore.

I started out strictly purchasing games off the eshop because I don't really like having carts and losing them, or having children that lose them.

Then Nintendo started bundling amiibo with games. Atlus releases games in LE format with the Atlus tax, but you get artbooks and things ... It's hard to pass that up.

This way, I can have my cake and eat it. On every 3DS I own. So that's a lot of fucking cake.

My current firmware. Normally, the "Sys" isn't present.
