[FF14] with a mere two hours of boredom (and one hour of actual productivity) this morning, I ended up feeling much more energetic this afternoon and stuck my head into Midas3 just to see what it's like

and it's as much fun as I'd hoped

fun mechanics, floating hearts of doom and a murder kitty, what else would I want?

it's also easy to heal compared to those first two bosses in Midas2 (especially number 2)

(still not sure what#s up with that super super high difficulty spike. I mean it could be gear differences that just happened to always play out that way but wooow the tank busters on

the second Midas2 fight especially are brutal, and yet everything surrounding it - all of Midas 1, later Midas2 bosses, and even Midas3 - is much much easier to heal.)

that said, the heavy attacks on the tank that Midas 3's boss dished out necessitated a looot of quick Benediction/Tetragrammaton/insta-Cure2's too, so it's not like they're harmless.

it got a bit hectic towards the end, especially when the boss had ONCE AGAIN put me in that little poison cell so my poor co-healer had to solo heal the final bits

but yeah, I think this one is my favourite Midas part so far!

the latest patch notes list Mac specifics for various functions, and an official blog post from February says something about reqs and, yeah, sadly also what Rina mentioned

only found a bundle of the base game and the current expansion on the square-enix store itself for mac right now and will fall into bed now, but maybe that's a starting point?
