Kain and Rydia

Well, I think everyone around me knows they're basically my one and only otp for Rydia (with Rydia Luca being a close second). I think... oh, gods, how do I keep this short?

I think they have a lot more in common than you'd ever imagine and at the same time they're so different it's almost painful, that's why I believe they'd balance each other SO WELL

they're both outcasts to some degree, her locking herself in Mist and trying to return to her 'world' that certainly isn't the human one (seriously, she could be an human queen anytime, yet she seems prone

to ignore edge's advances all the time), he spent 17 years on a mountain and they both (at least in tay) have scarce interactions with people around them. In the first journey all was a rush

and I can only imagine time for proper interactions was quite limited, but after that? I think they'd get along really well if they only accepted to stay around each other and, you know, maybe actually took

care of the big elephant in their room. But in TAY mama dragon clearly protected Kain so I assume we're all good and everyone's forgiven y/y?

I just... have so much to write about them. And Rydia is a character who has so much affection to give, if she ever fell for someone as much as she loves her land- how do I even write this?

I think whoever she'll ever love will find themselves costantly showered by attentions and love, which is something Kain could probably use and aaargh- I'm such a fangirl.

And I don't ship a lot of things- but when it comes to them I could write 5ever...

(also, they're the dragon duo and I will forever love the idea of them raising kids between lil hatchlings...)
