My mum loves licorice and vodka (proper aniseed, kinda salty, scandinavian licorice). my gran's friends in denmark once made her licorice vodka by dissolving licorice in a bottle of vodka.

there's a danish discount store (someone described it 'like the bit at the end of ikea with odds and ends) in my town.

that's kinda rare - idk what my town did to get one.

they sell salmiak and other odd scandinavian versions of licorice.

so I am dissolving some in a bottle of vodka.

ohhhhhhh. THE ONLY BLACK LICORICE I HAVE EVER LIKED was Lakerol from Norway
