Had a nice day today.

Got all my errands done, then to mom and dad's to help get stuff ready.

Youngest sister didn't come up because mom inadvertantly offended her. Which I was relieved about.

It was pretty much just mom and me. Dad was around doing his stuff till about 3ish, then he headed out to play handball and go to their annual night before thanksgiving dinner.

I brought in wood, dusted everything in the living room and dining room, changed doilies for christmas cloths, and vaccummed.

Then mom and I sat down to have a cup of tea. She was saying she had been so upset she couldn't really eat, so she tried some crackers.

She said she wasn't cooking, but if I wanted to go get something for myself and bring it back I could. After a bit she said, maybe an original chicken sandwich from Burger King might be good, maybe she could

eat that, but no fries because she really only liked McDonalds. So I went and got us Burger King and then swung by McD's across the street and got fries.

She ate the whole thing and said she felt much better - maybe she'd just needed to get some food in her.

So I felt much happier that I could help and that we had such a nice non-stressful day.

Tomorrow both sisters will be there as well as a family friend. Hopefully it will go okay.

i am so glad you had at least one not stressful day with the parents. and it's good she manaed to eat something.

I was so happy when she let me get her dinner and then clearly felt better after eating. Let me worry a little less about her, too.
