My first OS was 95 and I've used every OS since then.

XP was the most stable one

Daniel Voyager
Vista was terrible

samlaszlo posted this today, it definitely fits here!

I took a different path through the Windows world.... 95, 98SE, then Win2k, XP, and when I saw how Vista was, Ubuntu. I do use Win7 in a VM for a few tasks, but I don't see myself ever trying 8 or 10.

I used 1.0, 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8. I have Win 7 on my old laptop. I liked XP Media Center, just too bad that it's so slow now. IE is horrid on XP. I'm not sure I'll try 10, but I did reserve a

copy.

My way was DOS 2.something, several newer DOS versions and alternatives like DR-DOS, then Windows 3.0, 3.11, leap over to OS/2 2.1, 2.11, OS/2 Warp 3... then to 95, XP, Windows 7.

Tillie
No 98/NT/2000/Vista/8.0/8.1 for me ...

HomicidalMuffin
only had windows 95, xp, 7 and 8. XP was the best one

Monica
I used 95, Me, XP, and now Win7. I remember when everyone made such a big deal of Windows 95...between that and all of those internet dial up packages AOL and other companies used to send out...smh

PurplePenny
We went (not MS) DOS, 3.1, 95, XP, 7 at work. On my own PC I've used 95,98,Vista and 8/8.1

GoSpeed
Vic-20, C-64, DOS2.0 to 6.2, W3.1/95/98/98SE/2000, XP, Win7, Win8, Win10 and various flavors of linux the last 20 years.

viperfoxtrot: ditto - I had no problems with Vista.
