For servers with a high population and in some specific areas, they're using something called "field instances" for the next little while to help with the data load

you can still send /tells to people in a different "version" of an area. to stick together with your party members, make sure everyone choses the same version/instance when walking into an area

you get gold chocobos for each friend invited (and their subscription time purchased), and can exchange them for rewards. 1 gives you some rare dyes, 8 gives a Red draught chocobo mount, 15 a Twintania mount.

but ahaha, they're keep using a "Mr Morbol" as an example. First he was invited via the campaign, now he's using the new loot system to make sure items are distributed fairly XD

Alexander (normal mode) loot system! Treasure coffers in each area contain special items that can be exchanged for gear. (One per level may be obtained per week)

you need one of these items from treasure chests for an accessory, four for a piece of armour. You can chose the item you exchange them for of course, so it's less RNG-y than what we had so far in the
