DryadGurrl
It was sprinkling when I left the house this morning
DryadGurrl
(we have chance of a thunderstorm today)
DryadGurrl
and I said to myself: "But, there's water coming from the sky."
DryadGurrl
followed by: "Why's it doing that for?"
DryadGurrl
and that was when I realized the coffee had kicked in.
Ainsley ☄
aww
DryadGurrl
High Brew brand canned coffee. Cold brewed
DryadGurrl
IDK if the brewing style makes a difference, but apparently a little 8oz can of that stuff hits me hard.
Ainsley ☄
oh wow
INACTIVE PLURK
why this, says sleepy brain
DryadGurrl
It's got sucralose as a sweetener, which I know will make it undrinkable for many of the people on my timeline, but I enjoy the drink, both the salted caramel and the Mexican vanilla
DryadGurrl
I've got a dark chocolate one that I haven't tried yet, but I bet it's good.
Ainsley ☄
it's drinkable, but I will make a face at the aftertaste
DryadGurrl
(and I say sucralose, I might mean sucrose, whichever one splenda is that's not xylotol)
DryadGurrl
/nods
That and gas seem to be most people's problem with it, I have noticed either. Xylotol makes me gassy and so I attempt to avoid it on principle
DryadGurrl
and aspartame gives me nosebleeds, which pretty much means I can't chew gum anymore.
Ainsley ☄
sucrose is actual sugar
DryadGurrl
sucralose, then
DryadGurrl
(Why are all the things having the same letters, why?)
Ainsley ☄
words, man. words. why.

DryadGurrl
in any case: waiting for this predicted thunderstorm.
DryadGurrl
honestly hoping it's bad enough to knock the power out here at the office and make it so we have to go home.
DryadGurrl
(not counting on it by any means, as that has never happened as long as I've been here, power goes out we all just sit in the dark until it comes back)
DryadGurrl
(but everyone says that if the power's out within 2 hours of our leaving time anyway they have to let us go, but I've never seen it happen)
