and hanbei will have to use ninjutsu, but the spell didn't work so hotaru had to go and throw a kunai and oust herself

she was attending as a man to try and find out who the man in the hat was (kanbei)

yeah so after that plan failed, hanbei planted a letter that said the shield of azuchi had been slain and that it was the iga ninja who were trying to assassinate nobunaga

so all the samurai except for the main cast were rallying to go raid iga except nobunaga decided to hold judgment (because the main cast know of hotaru's true identity)

being desperate, kanbei decides to gamble his life
