Robb is, like, I mean, he's not even better in the show. The writing is better, because it's kind of obnoxious that in the book we never know why he even wants to be king.
Gimme Arya's sense of vengeance, gimme Sansa's fear and uncertainty, even gimme Jon's sense of 'I have no fucking idea of what I'm doing' gimme SOMETHING.
I mean, I actively dont get the Red Wedding hype for one key reason: what, in the story, was changed by Robb Stark being in it? If anyone else can find something, I'm all ears.
This War Of The Five Kings could've really been better done with, like, three. The show wrote out Greyjoy almost entirely. Couldn't we have done this with just Stannis and Renley?
Oh, I didn't miss anyone after it was over. But I did my best to insulate myself from spoilers and hype, so the event itself was actually a bit of a surprise.
I mean, yes, I'd heard the phrase "Red Wedding," so I knew that something was coming at some point. But I didn't actually know when in the show it happened.
You know who I hated to see die the most? The wolf. Penned up with nowhere to go, and poor Arya getting to watch. She needs to go all level 20 swashbuckler-ninja on everyone before it's all over.
