So earlier I get a call from the opticians saying my glasses are ready to be picked up. I say I'll be right over to get them...and the woman on the phone pauses for like, a full 10 seconds, and then goes "...we

close in 10 minutes...." as if what I'd said was the strangest, most unexpected thing in the whole world. Like - why call and say I can pick them up if you're just about to close anyway?
