Wes: doesn't sleep much, or at all. Lots of reasons. One is that he just can't sleep--he's too stressed and afraid of it. Yes, he is afraid of sleep/sleeping.
And those are all separate from the simple fact that sleeping is not something he can do any more. He doesn't feel safe and sleeping is not a safe thing.
AND he's afraid of darkness, which is fairly reasonable because where he's from, if you don't have a light source, the dark WILL KILL YOU. IT MANIFESTS THE NIGHT MONSTER AND IT WILL TEAR YOU APART.
A lot of the more overt stuff will fade quickly into more subtle manifestations, like general unease/anxiety, but his inability to sleep is going to persist for basically ever.
someone should ask me about Wes' imprisonmentit's awful but takes it to an extremeExcept it's hard to hide it when you're asking everyone if the dark is safe, no really is it not dangerous to be out at night???badly
