How do my characters end up in canon?

Things work out great for Mimi! Well, the end of Adventure is bittersweet, since she has to leave Palmon behind, but I mean, she still did help save the world!

And the end of 02 is literally "let's give a happy ending to every single character", so. Mimi and Palmon are fancy chefs and Mimi has a cute kid and everyone's happy!

Things... don't work out quite so great for Valmont. First he loses Julian Sands as his voice actor, and then each subsequent season decides to crap on him exponentially more.

He only gets two very brief cameos in the last season, and one of them is in the finale. Where he's working as a bus driver.

I mean, good for him for sucking it up and finding honest work, but... still. He's fallen pretty far.

Poor dude.
