Soon, I hope!

When I was a kid my Dad would give a quarter to the first person to bring in pussy willow in the spring. I sort of "cheated." I knew where the pussy willow grew, you see, and I also knew if you brought it in

an hour or two before supper and put it in a glass of warm water, the kits would open by the time dinner was over and it was time to approach Dad for the reward.

My kid brother, who didn't really like the Great Outdoors for its own sake, nor fiddle with plants, never did learn the place or the trick.

And was thus much disgruntled over the entire thing.

Heee!

As a kid walking home from school I would bring the first I found of the year to my mom (who suffered often from depression) so she would know spring was really coming!
