3 AM and I just got home from that news mixer and there were so many important people there, but also so many people in general. I didn't get to talk to everyone and I was def off my game. Did okay tho!
My boss said I did a really good job. At one point I was introducing HIM to some chief of staff from our legislator, so he was pretty impressed with me. That said, everyone kept treating me like I was trying
"OH FYI, WE REALLY LIKE THE ARTICLE YOU WROTE FOR LAST WEEK SO WE HELD IT FOR THIS WEEK AND I PETITIONED TO GET YOU PERMISSION TO DO A LONGER ARTICLE. AND CONGRATS YOU GOT A BIGGER SECTION SPACE. ..."
I also got the rest of the section I was supposed to be editing this week due in 6 hours... inexplicably late, and one article hasn't even been turned in and is 3 days late now, and I SHOULD REALLY GET ON THOSE
