[random musings] Sudden realization...

I play a lot of characters who "have trouble making friends" or who have had "very few friends/no friends" in their pasts

Like of my current set between Box and Bastion I can only think of one who didn't have that description somewhere in their history/personality

I don't think this is a reflection on me because I don't have trouble making friends I just haven't made any new ones IRL until recently???

That's just a weird connecting thread...

Maybe it's kind of a way that you're attempting to understand the people who actually do have trouble making friends?

I mean I'll be the first to admit... I am not a terribly social person anymore nor do I really want to be. I find the idea of going out to just be tiresome and I'd much rather spend an evening at home

on the computer or at least playing video games or watching tv with friends

But when I was younger I made friends easily and now days if I actually try I'm not a complete socially awkward turtle

yeah, I'm the opposite. I end up play social butterflies (or people who shouldn't be social butterflies but somehow are)

and I'm like you, I prefer to stay at home most times

Rin wound up a total social butterfly in Vatheon xD

He was utterly confused by it, too

Not that he complained, it was nice having so many friends, but the house he and his girlfriend wound up living in constantly had people in it

"Villa Logs" wound up being a monthly thing, it was beautiful
