Are you ever writing or thinking about writing and suddenly you think of the BEST LIKE EVER and you're like YES THIS IS THE BEST LINE EVER. I WILL NEVER WRITE A BETTER LINE THAN THIS ONE

And then you actually write it down and read it over and it's like a balloon deflating in your head?

sometimes I have an amazing line in my head

and no matter what I do it comes out almost right but just a little wrong

it is terrible

yeah esp since im like ... i literally am a line writer

like when i even think of writing a fic im like ITS CAUSE THIS DIALOGUE / DESCRIPTION IS GON BE SOOO COOL EVERYONE'S GONNA LOOOVE IT HAHAHAHA

and then i'm like ....

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME

"I AM GOING TO USE THIS LINE AND IT'LL BE COOL AND"

yeeeeep

though usually I think of the REALLY COOL LINES when I am not where I can get it down immediately, so I try to rehearse it in my head

but by the time I can actually get it down I have lost the magic
