Okay, I give. How do my characters show affection?

Yoruichi can get very tactile, though mostly in a trollish or broship way. You know, like boobsquishing an angry teenager who hates that kind of thing.

Or smacking/punching a kooky friend in the head for acting like a doofus.

All the teasing. All the merciless teasing.

But also . . . blunt honesty, when the situation calls for it. She likes to misdirect or say a lot of little consequence, but if she likes you, and it's a serious situation?

She'll give it to ya straight.

Now, Hitsu?

He will actually RELAX. Shocking, I know. Probably not smile in most cases, 'cause that really just ain't him. But the relaxing thing is huge.

Juvenile teasing. I mean come on, he used to call his BFF a bedwetter when they were kids!

But yes. ACTUAL TEASING. Lo and behold, he does have a sense of humour.

Also, the words "idiot" and "dumbass" are often used as terms of affection.

Because what is using real ones?

And of course, stupid hyper-protectiveness. DON'T MESS WITH HIS PEOPLE IF YOU WANNA LIVE!

Don't make them uncomfortable, don't make them cry . . . or you've gotta answer to him.
