Earthquakes today

Just after 3AM Eastern, 7.3 off the coast of Japan, followed by 6.2 after shock, 5.5, and another Five after shocks about 5.0-5.1 plus others less than 5.

Six hours later, 5.3 in the middle of Western China.

Nearly Four hours later, less than an hour ago, 6.3 in New Zealand, North Island.

Note: the 7.3 triggerred a small Tsunami of only about a meter.

There's a whole lot of shaking going on in the Pacific!

Yes, but it has been a while since I noticed at least Ten at higher than 5.0 in less than Twelve hours.

Poor Japan is getting rattled.

It’s that darned Ring of Fire.

Things are settling down a bit. Only Two Quakes at 5.6 in the last Six hours! Japan and Papua New Guinea. That's less concerning.
