work adjacent, but I'm TRYING to get some professional training/development stuff done this year, but also trying to do it as cheaply as possible (it's not cheap because the trainings themselves are SO fucking expensive)

$300 for a single 8-hour course? plus flight and lodging?

at least the email archiving one I can drive to (it's a 6 hour drive, but honestly, that's nothing)

but it's, ya know, $600 for these two classes, flight or mileage, per diems, lodging... BLUH BLUH BLUH

I'm also looking into the volunteer positions with the society because those seem more accessible to me at this point than the leadership positions

because what I need is to be in more volunteer positions

me laughing about mileage stuff because it would be cheaper FOR WORK if I flew, but cheaper FOR ME if I drove (a flight costs ~$300-$450, whereas 2.5 tanks of gas is $80) (mileage is 73c, so driving to and from Columbus is ~$520)

I hate excel so much, why is the conditional formatting and data validation on this thing so fucking bad

also it doesn't change things when you edit your data validation titles ???????? god i fucking hate this
