Gay men aren't fetishized ever totally.. Like the yaoi and bl fetishism is what leads to more real life examples,fetishism will go mainstream turn into books, movies and be normalized in regular life this same thing applies to lolicons and proshippers it doesn't ever stay "just drawings"

I was in proship communities online from ages 9-13 or so rough age range I have seen this happening in real time THAT'S why it's so dangerous and that's why you should always speak up early, this is just more of a real time example yes yaoi has always been sexualized but showing how quickly fetishism becoming mainstream can develop into real world issues

And people not seeing problems with things, it's like a staircase with each step closer you get into these things it's more "normal"like yaoi became accepted and normal to be fetishized so when it turns into those shitty smut books moms read that's not a big step so each level they get worse and worse until we have straight woman genuinely preying on gay men

And also don't make this into a weird gender thing, men are majority of perpetrators across most crimes, but men can abuse woman and woman can abuse men, especially men who are minorities, I am not saying woman have more rights than gay men either they do not hold power over them but can still be an abusive dynamic
