[dye science part two]

so last night before I went to bed, I spray bottled the guy in the tall jar because the dye had NOT moved up it at all

woke up this morning and... success!!!

the dye DID creep up it once it was no longer dry

so morning tasks:

1) spray down the ones that got a round of ice and then I just left them there
2) make up another pot of dye in a different blue to gradient the other end of these testers
3) apply more ice to the guys in 1 once they've had a little time for the water to soak in
4) wash out the pink I just threw fully in a jar to soak

jar guys done, breakfast required

ice round 2 (+ excess dye scraped off onto cheapo garbo Amazon bandanas)

ELASTICS FOLLOW UP: looks like three cotton, one poly, and the fourth one might be a blend? it took more than zero dye but not as much as the others

I need to improve my skills at not having the heaviest hand on the dye fml

hmmm observation: this shit is not pre-shrunk

hm...

completed science projects. most of which are not suitable for my plans due to the power of COTTON SHRINKAGE but we keep going
