did I think the first one was better, I mean, yes, but did I have a good time, also yes

I found the ending a little........idk lacking? disappointing? lackluster? bc they didn't finish the story, bc they know this is a series that Prints Money, so they KNOW they getting a 3

so they clearly went fuck you there's no less than four things to address in the sequel

Agreed, the ending feels very sloppy and rushed

I get why, but it's disappointing

you got charlotte!vanessa, you got--listen he got knocked on his ass but michael still is y'know alive, you got springtrap, and perhaps my personal favorite we saw circus baby in vanessa's dreammemoryscape

so you KNOW that bitch out there somewhere

I kind of thought they were gonna start doing a 4 thing in the dreammemory, going through the house and all

I do find it interesting how they weave together the game lore with the movie lore and try to make things mesh

yeah, I kind of figured some of the parents would get waxed before Vanessa could catch up to them

the ending really did get rushed - I felt like another 20ish minutes (which could've been taken from a few places) would help wrap Charlotte while still leaving Michael and Springtrap for the sequel

movie's not even 2 hours, they could've fit a smidge more in

the message in the credits also felt like. rushed and unnecessary I MEAN SQUEEZE MORE LORE ON IN THERE SURE but

the guardian review gave the movie one star, which means it's surely a masterpiece [frequently heavily disagrees with guardian ratings]

I'm so conflicted on this movie, because on the one hand it had more neat moments than the first one and I had a very good time watching it, but on the other hand, you can kinda tell they didn't have as much time to perfect the script/pacing in this one as they did with the first one.
