it's funny because i'm remembering bigby also does not like mundy (non-fairytale) cops so knowing he's a detective back home definitely adds to the "i'm not giving this kid any breaks" mantra
I've gotta say the consistent duality of Laios tail wagging I love my friends and Bigby instigating a fight every time someone breathes in his general direction. Is really funny.
akechi did approach shido first, but he was a dumb fifteen year old and it was shido who decided akechi should use his powers for murder so it's messy (not that it absolves akechi of guilt. just... punches shido)
side note for bday mingle: i was trying to figure out how to also shoehorn laios getting STABBED and BLOWN UP last month but maybe that'll wait for the actual threads lmao why you got a lot of bandages on buddy
so i think laios probably would've picked up this quest thinking it was one of the normal ones, so likely dolly or someone at the clinic would need to tell him it's a quest from siffrin so like?? suddenly it's Very Important he does a Good Job on this one....
he also does not have hands so that makes things hard but he can use his electricity to help with burning and boiling and will probably just mainly be dolly's sous chef in soap making....he's vaguely familiar with the process but definitely not his wheel house!! he's trying!!
honestly i did think about listing the animal fat recipe as an option in the quest but then i decided it would be too complicated... also apparently it's easier to screw up than plant oil versions!
