Was Wikipedia-ing the story of Ayyob the prophet if you’re a Muslim, & was giggling that the name is Job in English.

The OG Hebrew name is Iyyov, far much closer than Job, since the Arabic & Hebrew use the same exact sounding characters, but the V got lost in pronunciation & become B in Arabic.

Like how Tel Aviv is written as Tel Abib in Arabic.
