My take on Sekiro is that although it has an undeniable Soulslike stank to it, it is decidedly not actually a Soulslike, it's its own thing

it demands a Souls mindset but a Souls skillset is not of use here

my actual take is that it's a borderline case and I think the choice to either include or exclude it makes Enough sense but my fun take is that it's a Soulslike because people get REALLY mad when you say it is
