@ native English speakers would you say prejudice can be used as a synonym for bias or is there a word that would work better?

me neither I need to translate it in my first language but we don't have a translation of bias so I thought about using prejudice

they are the same thing technically, the direct definition of bias uses "prejudice"

if you're biased towards something you may display prejudice against something

ya, prejudice is actually the most common synonym for bias, but if you want more depending on what the context is i’d also say: bigotry & partisanship !

it's ok I just needed a direct translation I think prejudice fits best I'll use that one
but I'll keep the other ones in mind too I have a feeling I'll need them eventually
